Our goal is to provide a well-built home and create a construction experience that will be professional and enjoyable through communication and honesty. By being honest and communicating with our clients we can allow them to make an informed decision and feel confident in their home.
At Buttrum Custom Homes we can build on "Your Lot" Or "Ours" as your choice which makes building with BCH a unique experience. We have highly trained experts to design the home of your dreams. If you choose us as your homebuilder, we would gladly assist you, at no charge in finding a lot or- evaluate your property to ensure that it is a good building site.
Every project starts with an initial meeting. This meeting we will identify some of your wants, needs and most importantly the amount you are comfortable with spending on your custom home.
By establishing the budget first, we can be honest about the expectations regarding size, style and special features.
Lots are generally 15%-20% of total price of your home. We will provide a free lot evaluation which we will inform you about the topography, size and shape of the lot, and orientation.
If homeowner does not have a lot, we will be happy to assist in selection of property.
At this point, we will be able to give a high-low estimate based on wants, needs and lot.
During the plan design phase, a Professional Service Agreement (PSA) will be signed. BCH will help you design your plans and ensure your vision.
We will identify the rooms and style that fits your needs and budget best. We will make selections before the construction process to ensure a smooth build. Buttrum Construction highly recommends bringing photos, images, paint swabs or any items that will help the designer see your vision
Once all selections and plans are complete. BCH will meet one more time to evaluate the plans and provide a custom proposal for your home.
Now, a contract will be needed to move to the next step, along with a Deposit.
After signing BCH Contract, we will be able to start applying for HOA approval, permits, water, electric and start clearing the lot.
We will conduct a pre-construction meeting with our superintendent to ensure all questions or concerns are addressed.
Once construction begins, we will make sure you receive weekly updates on the progress of your home.
Meetings will be held throughout the construction process to review the work completed, to inform you on the next steps and to answer any questions or concerns.
Construction is complete. We will have a meeting to go over punch items and to familiarize you with the maintenance and operations of your home.
We strive for 100% completion prior to move-in.
Congratulations your new home is ready for move-in. Contracts are finalized, you're given a packet of information about warrantied items and warranty service requests. We handle all our warranty items in-house. Submit a warranty request to our website BCHTexas.com or call us and we will be happy to address any issues within your home.
